Sempra U.S. Gas & Power is a leading developer of innovative energy solutions using sustainable fuels. Formed in 2012 through a merger of Sempra Energy’s U.S. operations outside of its California utilities, Sempra U.S. Gas & Power develops renewable power facilities and natural gas infrastructure, with a commitment to environmental stewardship and community partnerships.
Our wind, solar and low-emission natural gas power plants generate more than 1,500 megawatts (MW) of electricity, providing enough clean energy to power approximately one million homes. Over the next five years, we plan to build more than 1,000 MW of additional solar and wind power capacity that will deliver new sources of renewable electricity.
With 23 billion cubic feet of underground natural storage capacity in operation, 2,000 miles of pipeline and gas distribution utilities, Sempra U.S. Gas & Power leads the way to make this clean, domestic fuel available to more communities across the country.
