A 50-50 joint venture with BP Wind Energy, Fowler Ridge 2 was Sempra U.S. Gas & Power’s first operational wind power facility. Situated on gently rolling farmland, Fowler Ridge 2 capitalizes on its ideal location for wind generation. The project's entire power output is sold under four 50-megawatt (MW) contracts to American Electric Power and Vectren Energy Delivery of Indiana.

Sempra U.S. Gas & Power is expanding its renewable energy portfolio with the Cedar Creek 2 wind farm, a second joint venture with BP Wind Energy. Completed in June 2011, the 250-megawatt (MW) project created 350 construction jobs and more than a dozen full-time positions to operate the facility.
The project's entire power output is sold under a 25-year contract to Public Service Company of Colorado.
Flat Ridge 2

The Flat Ridge 2 wind farm is located in a wind-rich region near Wichita, Kansas. A joint venture of Sempra U.S. Gas & Power and BP Wind Energy, the 470-megawatt (MW) project is the largest wind farm in the state of Kansas. Spread across 66,000 acres, Flat Ridge 2 utilizes 294 wind turbines to generate enough electricity to power 140,000 homes.
Mehoopany Wind

The 141-megawatt (MW) Mehoopany Wind farm, located on a 9,000-acre site in Wyoming County, Pennsylvania is creating a new source of electricity and providing economic benefits to surrounding communities. It is currently the largest wind farm in the state of Pennsylvania.
Auwahi Wind

Auwahi Wind, located on the southeast coast of Maui, Hawaii generates 21 megawatts (MW) of clean energy, producing enough electricity to power about 10,000 Maui homes. Completed in late 2012, the wind farm is helping Hawaii reach its goal of securing 40 percent of its energy from renewable sources by 2030.
